Error message "please select cell(s) from a single table"
Is there a way to get this to work on tables inside of tables?
1. this macro is already in Onetastic as of today (March 19, 2013) so you don\'t need to download it separately.
2. It includes 6 functions - Sum, Average, Count non-empty, Count numbers, Min, Max.
3. It performs a calculation once. That is, it is NOT inserting a formula like in Excel which auto-recalcs when you change the values.
4. To operate on a single row/column of numbers - have an empty cell beside/underneath them, then select them and the empty cell, then do the function
5. To operate on multiple rows/columns - have an empty row beside/beneath the set of data, select it, do your function.
6. In other words, to do a single line of numbers, select the data plus one empty cell. To operate on a matrix, select an empty row or column next to the matrix, for the results.
