Chase: added option to sort in descending order which would do Z-A instead. You need to re-download the macro to get this.

Is there anyway to sort the books Z-A instead?

I restarted OneNote and the Macro showed up. Worked well. Thanks.

amorris101: Double click on the downloaded .onetastic file for the macro to install it. Once installed it will show up on your Home ribbon tab.

Sort Notebooks is not functioning properly. It is scrambling the notebooks rather than sorting by name.  I occasionally get duplicates as well.  What is happening here?

I get an error when I try to sort notebooks:
'The notebook does not exist.

Windows 10, Onenote 2016

Thorsten, just double click on the downloaded file to import into OneNote. If it can\'t find the program to run it with, associate it with MacroInstaller.exe. See the FAQ entry for this.
