Tig: Thanks for sharing great ideas. I agree that your suggestions would improve this macro greatly. About the custom tags, OneNote does not expose this information to add-ins, so there is no way to display them on the dialog box. However if you have a list of custom tags you want to search for, then you can edit the macro and add them to the list.

The idea for this is interesting, however if I am limited to only a few predefined tags, this is useless.  It should allow me to select from all tags available in OneNote (standard and custom).  I should additionally be able to indicate if I want to include Tags that are completed, incomplete, or both.

Another thing that would be nice is if it organized the summary by Notebook, then section, then page.  Or if you provided options on how you wanted to organized the tag summary, that would be even better.

One last suggestion is on the scope.  It would be good to add Current Page and Current Section Group.  It would also be nice to expand the notebook scope options beyond Current Notebook and All Notebooks.  If you allow the user to select multiple specific notebooks, this would improve performance and results, by limiting which notebooks the macro is searching.  It just takes too long if it searches all (I haven't even been able to see what the results look like yet).  I am also guessing that there isn't a quick refresh option to update the tag summary as you have made changes.

I would like to see something with a bit more value beyond the standard tag summary.

If the page name does not contain any spaces it works fine (see item 1)
1) Implementation---Content Library

If the page name contains spaces it adds %20 (see item 2)
2) Mechanical%20Training%20Program---Mechanical Training Course
