Thank you for the Macro Leo - just what I was looking for!
I'll set a shortcut key combo as I can see me using this often.
Your solution is most flexible, but an ever quicker approach might be that the macro simply takes the text and hyperlink that is in the paste buffer and pastes the text string with the whole of that string as the hyperlinked text.
