Update with many bug fixes and macro improvements

October 20, 2016
Onetastic version 3.2.1 is available with many bug fixes. Also several macros in Macroland has been updated with improvements and many new macros are added since the last update.

Bug Fixes

Cannot click OK on dialog box with fields that aren't required

This prevented Search & Replace macro to replace a text with empty text.

Macros ribbon tab is all caps in OneNote 2016

If you keep your macros in a separate tab this inconsistency may have been annoying for you.

DateTime from XML string parses incorrectly

DataTime processor in macros was parsing and generating string representations of dates incorrectly under certain cases where DST is or isn't in effect. This resulted in macros reading or outputting times off by an hour or two.

Page.orientation cannot be set

Page.orientation property is read-write but trying to modify it would cause a macro error

Expression editor resets the expression when clicking OK without changes

Expression editor incorrectly removed an existing expression when closing it without changes using OK button.

Custom styles are missing on a fresh install

Multiple users noted that Onetastic doesn't install the 17 built-in custom styles unless you are upgrading from an older version.

More Xml invalid errors

One more case of "Xml Invalid" error was identified that happens mostly on macros that read multiple pages.

Macro Updates

Following macros in Macroland are updated:

Where am I+

This macro now correctly displays the section group hierarchy

Insert Monthly Calendar - Alternate

Now displays the current month/year selected on the dialog box

Resize Images by Pixels

Updated with an option to run only on selected images as opposed to all images on a page

Set Section Color

Updated to display 25 predefined colors in addition to the ability to use color codes.

Attachment List in Current Notebook

Now groups the attachments per page and displays the path to the page with back links similar to Where am I macro. Each attachment list item links back to the original attachment in the notebook. Fixed an obscure error message displayed when no attachments were found.

Sublime Theme

Added "Current Page" and "Current Section" options.

New Macros

Several new macros have been added to Macroland since the last update. Check them out:

A4-hoch Skala für Handnotizen

Fügt eine A4-hoch breite Skala für Handnotizen ein (Inserts an A4 scale for handnotes)

Black Theme

Makes the background color of all the pages in a Section Black and converts existing text to white

Standard text on the page will now be Segoe Pro Black 11 and titles will be 20.

Shrink Pages

Resizes each image and printout in the current page by given percentage. This extension allows to choose either all images or the selected image only on the current page to be resized.

Color VB Comments

Changes color of text starting with a single quote (') on selected lines to green

Change Tag Text

Change the text that appears when you hover over a tag. The new text have more than one line. Select anyplace in paragraph that contains the tag whose text your want to modify.
